Can Face Painting Be Done With Acrylics?

Acrylic paint is not skin safe and should especially not be used on the face. Acrylic paint is made for crafting and its ingredients often include toxic chemicals such as cadmium, cobalt, manganese, chromium, ammonia, and lead. Even if the paint is water-soluble and has “non-toxic” on the label, it doesn't mean that it is safe to have on your face.

What Kind of Glitter Do You Use?

All glitter used is cosmetic-grade glitter and is safe for the face, hair, and body. Cosmetic glitter is made from a special kind of plastic as opposed to craft glitter which can be made of metal or glass. Although the glitter we use is cosmetic grade, caution should still be used when removing glitter so as not to enter the eye area. As with any foreign object entering the eye area, eye irritation and harm can still occur with cosmetic glitter.

How Long to Glitter Tattoos Last?
